Edenvale Finals results!
In 2 Touch would like to congratulate all the winners from the summer ’06 league. It was a gruelling 12 weeks of league due to rain delays and the untimely passing away of Kim.

We would like to thank all the referees who helped out throughout the season. It’s often a thankless job so I’m thanking them personally in this round-up letter.

In 2 Touch would also like to thank Candice de Klerk (Sanlam) for the free raffle hamper that was won by: Charlene Swanepoel and Liquor City (Buccleah) for the donation of R500 worth of alcohol. For any investment queries contact Candice on 084 210 9953

Please enter for the winter league, which starts on the 29th May at a cost of R1700 for 10 games. That’s one competitive price compared to any other action sport around. For more details go to http://www.touchrugby.co.za

Semi Finals have arrived!

After weeks of toil, the semi-finals and plate events have arrived to the Edenvale League at the Jeppe Quondam Sports Club. It's been a hard season with rain delays, untimely passing away of Kim and the miraculous lights at Jeppe Quondam taking strike and deciding to stop working occasionally.

I hope to see some fair and competitive games, whilst letting our referees control the game without the constant complaints in the background from our on field players. If this could be done we'll all enjoy the game a little bit better. I follow with my theory until you've tried to referee a 6-down game you'll understand it's not an easy job.

Until my next weekly report, Keep safe over the weekend and lets hope our South African Rugby teams in the Super 14 can win their respective games.

Good Luck!
Dale

New League Manager
In2Touch would like to extend its welcome to Dale Cassel, their new league manager of the Sandton and Edenvale leagues.

Dale is fresh out of university after completing his degree in BCOM Sports Management with honours and is looking to apply his vast years of educational knowledge on the leagues.

He looks forward to making your touch rugby experience a truly memorable one. He would like to add his two favourite quotes which he hopes will inspire all touch rugby players.
  • "If you are first, you are first. If you are second your nothing" - Bill Shankly

  • "The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they dont know the game" - Bill Shankly
