So far we have had a season swomped with rain and catch up macthes. It must be noted that all the team have obliging and understanding with regards to playing two matches in a night and thanks must go out to them. Lets hope that the rain holds up till the end of the season.
The rain could be significant of a new beginnings and on that note we must welcome Mark Prior to the Randburg touchrugby league. Mark is taking over from Shanon Duff, who is leaving for the UK on the 9th of April and will be running a league in London for a while until he gets his feet on the ground. We all wish Shanon the best of luck with his travels and great thanks for his hard work at the Randburg league. We are sure Mark will succeed Shanon and that the rest of the season will be a success and hopefully rain free. Good luck for your fixtures in the coming weeks.

| Season finale! |

The Winter League was brought to a resounding end on Wednesday night, with the teams finishing in style and class.
The finals were a close and hard fought battle resulting in a few drop offs having to be played to decide the closely contested teams, as well as new Champions being crowned for the 1st time in 2 years. The Makhulus emerged victors over the always consistent defending Champions the Olympians in a closely contested 1 point affair.
May you all enjoy the month break before the Spring season. Looking forward to seeing you all back again. Remember entries are already over so get your teams together and get your entries in.

| Happy Easter! See on the 30th of March |
 |
Firstly I would like to apologise to all the teams that were supposed to play last night, conditions arose that were out of our control and the decision to play was taken out of my hands by the pitch officials at Diggers. I do apologise again that we had to cancel and I hope that everyone was notified with enough time, thank you to all those Captains that I
phoned and for understanding the dilemia that we were it was much appreciated.
With regards to next week:
Due to it being the Easter weekend there will be NO Touch Rugby games in that week (Monday 21st and Wednesday 23rd). There will also be NO games on Monday the 28th.
However Wednesday the 30th we are having a big Touch Rugby evening with 5 fields and we will be trying to schedule as many games as possible, I am also aware that Pieter at the bar is orgainsing specials for that evening as well, so it should be an a fun filled evening fo all.
All teams will be contacted next week as to whether or not you are playing on Wednesday the 30th.
May you all enjoy the Easter Weekend ahead.

| Welcome Shanon |
 |
In 2 Touch wishes to welcome Shanon Duff to their team. Shanon has joined the company after he finished his Sport Management degree from RAU last year. He is a very keen sportsman with national colours in biathlon. He will take up the position of league manager at Randburg and with Shanon at the helm Randburg is sure to reach new highs.
We are convinced Shanon will be a great asset for this company and we are sure all teams will enjoy a great working relationship with him.

| Round 4 Action (28 Feb & 2 March) |
 |
Monday night was a wild and wet affair and it seemed destined to be cancelled, but the teams put their best rugby boot forward, and decided to brave the harsh conditions and wet fields and play was underway. Besides the conditions the games were played at a fast and furious pace much to the disappointment of the groundskeeper. All in all great fun was had and the spirits of the teams were high despite the inclement conditions.
Wednesday night was a blustery evening and the threat of rain on the horizon caused a bit of concern. However the wind and impending rain did little to dampen the teams spirits Luck was on our side and the games were able to continue. Some great results were recorded as well as some close games, as they say a successful evening for all.
Access all the results as well as next weeks fixtures on our website.
