Here is a full update from all of us here at In 2 Touch, as of Wednesday, 8 July 2020.
Following the most recent governments advice, all O2 Touch leagues run by In 2 Touch will be on hold subject to a continued review from the advice of the government.
The government still recommends no unnecessary travel or social gatherings of over 6 people from different households. Additionally, social distancing measures of 1m still remain. While there was no specific mention of sporting events, we have decided to follow the advice and other national governing bodies such as the RFU in suspending all of our organised activities for the time being.
We understand that many of you will be disappointed by this news. However, the decision has been taken following governments advice and we hope everyone understands that the welfare, safety and interests of everyone associated with our sport is of the utmost importance.
All current leagues have been put on hold and we will be sure to keep everyone updated as to the start date of any leagues. We do hope that everyone requiring a refund has been contacted by one of our team but if you have any further questions then do not hesitate to email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We do understand that the latest governments advice does allow unlimited outside sporting activity, so where possible, we’d encourage everyone to maintain their own personal fitness and keep active during this time, while following governments guidelines about safe distance and safe exercise environments.
In 2 Touch will continue to review and monitor governments advice as well as the RFU’s and will provide regular updates on the impact of the coming seasons to all teams and players
